Pennypack Park has nine miles of paved trail running from Montgomery County all the way to the Delaware River. There are bird sanctuaries, historic stone bridges dating to 1697, seasonal concerts at the amphitheater, and miles of creekside trail that are genuinely shaded in summer.
Welsh Road connects the neighborhood to Roosevelt Boulevard, I-95, and the broader Northeast. SEPTA bus routes serve the corridor. Center City is about 25–30 minutes depending on traffic and your starting point.
